GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 17 March 2004
on the provision of a contribution from the budget chapter of the Ministry of Defence to mitigate certain injustices caused by the Communist regime
The Government orders pursuant to § 8 of Act No. 198 / 1993 Coll., on the illegality and resistance of the Communist regime:
Persons whose employment or professional relationship has ended because of political persecution or a procedure which violates generally recognised human rights and liberal1) and who are beneficiaries of an old-age or full-time disability pension and who are also holders of a certificate issued by the Ministry of Defence under a special legislation, 2) a contribution is granted from the budget chapter of the Ministry of Defence to the extent and for the purposes for which otherwise, under special legislation3) a performance from the fund of the Ministry of Defence's cultural and social needs to persons who worked with the State - Ministry of Defence on their first departure into an old or full disability pension.
The contribution referred to in Article 1 may not be granted to persons who, under special legislation3) are granted by another employer.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the first day of the calendar month following its publication.
