of 22 December 1971
amending the subordination of border guards
The Bureau of the Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has acted in accordance with Article 58 (3) of Constitutional Law No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation, on the following legal measure:
(1) The border guard is transferred from the subordination of the Minister of National Defence of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to the subordination of the Minister of Interior of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
(2) The cooperation of the Border Guard with the Czechoslovak People's Army in the defence of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic will be regulated by the Minister of Interior of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in agreement with the Minister of National Defence of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
The legal measure of the Bureau of the National Assembly No. 138 / 1965 Coll., on the change of subordination of the Border Guard is hereby repealed.
This legal measure shall take effect on 1 January 1972.
