DECLARATION
of 11 June 2007
on the declaration of the National Natural Monuments of the Svatos Rock and the establishment of its closer protection conditions
According to § 79 (3) (b) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Conservation, as amended by Act No. 218 / 2004 Coll.:
Subject matter
(1) The National Natural Monument of the Svatoš Rock (hereinafter referred to as the "National Natural Monument") is announced.
(2) The reason for special protection is the preservation of geomorphologically isolated granite rock formations with fragments of relict boron and the occurrence of rare or endangered species of plants and animals.
Definition of national natural heritage
The national natural monument is situated in the territory of the Karlovy Vary Region, in the cadastral territory of the Mountain near Jenisova. The boundaries of the national natural monument shall be determined by a closed geometric pattern with direct sides whose vertices are determined by the coordinates given in the uniform trigonometric network of the cadastral1). The list of coordinates of the closed geometric pattern and its individual vertices arranged as they follow in the pattern is contained in Annex 1 to this decree. An indicative graphic representation of the territory of the national natural monument is contained in Annex 2 to this decree.
Closer protection conditions
Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national natural monument:
(a) make changes to the type of land or the way in which it is used (2);
(b) to adjust the road surface (3) using non-local natural material of the same geological origin;
(c) carry out marking of rock-climbing terrain and maintenance of rock-climbing equipment, including permanent securing equipment;
d) conduct climbing activities outside the climbing terrain marked in accordance with this decree;
(e) driving vehicles 4) into the territory of the national natural heritage; consent is not required for vehicles of the Police of the Czech Republic and municipal police, fire brigade and non-state fire brigades, armed forces of the Czech Republic in the performance of the tasks of the armed forces and other public and public services in the performance of the state administration, rescue services and state veterinary services and for vehicles necessary for the care of land or crops located in the territory of the national natural monument.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on 1 July 2007.
