amending and supplementing Act No. 93 / 1951 Coll., on a public holiday, on working days and on memorable and important days
The Bureau of the Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has acted in accordance with Article 58 (3) of Constitutional Law No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation, on the following legal measure:
Act No. 93 / 1951 Coll., on the National Festival, on working days and on memorable and important days, as amended by Act No. 65 / 1965 Coll. and Act No. 56 / 1975 Coll. is amended as follows:
1. The title of the law reads:
"on public holidays, working days and memorable and important days."
2.
National Holidays
The ninth of May, the anniversary of the liberation of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet army, and the 28th of October, the day of the creation of a separate Czechoslovak state, are declared state holidays of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. "
Article 3 (2) (1) reads as follows:
"(1) National Holidays 9 May and 28 October are working days."
4. in Article 3, point (c) is deleted and the previous point (d) is renumbered as point (c).
This legal measure shall take effect on the date of its publication.
