DECLARATION
of 15 May 2025
amending Decree No 210 / 2023 Coll., on equidae and pet animals
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to Section 78 of Act No. 166 / 1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and on the amendment of certain related laws (Veterinary Act), as amended by Act No. 246 / 2022 Coll. and Act No. 70 / 2025 Coll., for implementation of Sections 40a (4) and 41b (4) of the Veterinary Act:
Decree No 210 / 2023 Coll., concerning equidae and pet animals, is amended as follows:
1. in Paragraph 1 (b):
"(b) more detailed animal and public health requirements for the animal cemetery and for the disposal of pet carcases by burial in the animal cemetery."
2. In Section 2 (1) of the Introductory Part of the Provisions and in Section 3 (3) of the Introductory Part of the Provisions, the words "for 20-year water flow 'shall be inserted after the word" territory'.
3. footnote 3 shall read:
"3) Act No. 283 / 2021 Coll., Construction Act, as amended. '
4. Article 2 (1) and Article 3 (3) (b), including footnote 5, read:
"(b) 200 m from the border of the protection zone of water resources of the first degree and at least 30 m from the body of surface water5),
5) Paragraph 2 (4) of Act No. 254 / 2001 Coll. '.
5. In Section 2, at the end of the text of paragraph 3, the words "and shall be covered with a layer of soiled soil of at least 1,5 m to the ground level and other at least 20 cm above the ground level 'shall be added.
6. In Article 2, the words "and at the same time the requirement for a layer of soiled soil above the carcases referred to in paragraph 3" are added at the end of the text of paragraph 4.
7. In Paragraph 3 (4), the words "treated with lime or other appropriate disinfectant and subsequently 'are deleted.
Technical Regulation
This Decree was notified in accordance with Directive (EU) 2015 / 1535 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 September 2015 laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical and information society services.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on 1 June 2025.
