DECLARATION
of 9 January 2020
on the issue of a commemorative silver two hundred crown for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Božena Nemcová
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 29 January 2020, the 200th anniversary of the birth of Božena Nemcová is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) Two hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,26 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the two hundred crown is a composition of stylized heraldic animals from the great state sign of the Czech Republic and under it the text "CZECH REPUBLIC." Under this text, two rows indicate the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK." The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the letters "No" and "M" is placed at the top of the mint field to the right of the national character.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is a portrait of Božena Nemcová in left profile with a hint of clothing. The text "Božena Němková" is placed in decorative letters at the bottom edge of the two-hundredth crown and "1820-2020" is placed at the top right edge. The author of the coin, academic sculptor Jiří Harcuba, which is the letter "H," is located at the left edge of the coin.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 29 January 2020.
