Government Regulation
of 19 December 1947
on the education of teachers of the religion of schools of general and urban schools.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders the President of the Republic, pursuant to § 2 of the Decree of 27 October 1945, No. 132 Coll., on the education of the teacher:
Teachers of the religion of schools of general and urban schools receive education at the Bohemian and educational faculties.
(1) The compulsory period of study for candidates for teaching the religion of schools of general and local schools is set at six semesters.
(2) For a transitional period from the date of publication of this Regulation to the date to be determined by the Government by the Regulation, the period of study for candidates for the teaching of the religion of schools in general shall be reduced to four semesters.
(3) The Minister for Education and Education and Education shall issue the Regulations of Study and Examination with regard to Slovakia following the comments of the Commissioner for Education and Education.
The Minister for Education and Education, Slovakia, after a statement by the school and education officer, determines the time of starting the studies under this regulation at individual faculties.
The provisions of this Regulation apply only to education for the teaching of religion of those religions whose priests are educated in the Bohemian faculties, and only to those candidates for the teaching of religion who did not have a normal study of Bohemian religion.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they are carried out by the Minister for Education and Education.
