Government Regulation
of 14 February 1947
on state examinations and strict doctoral examinations at the Faculty of Law and State Sciences.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders pursuant to Sections 1, 2 and 7 of the Law of 20 April 1893, No 68 of the Czech Republic, on Legal and State Studies and on State Tests:
(1) State examinations and strict doctoral examinations at the faculties of law and state sciences are carried out by partial examinations of individual subjects.
(2) If the candidate has successfully carried out partial examinations of all test subjects of the state examination or of the strict examination of the doctoral, he shall be given a Certificate of the state examination, after a strict examination of the doctoral examination.
(1) Sub-examinations on the subjects of the historical and legal examination of the state of the art shall be carried out at the earliest during the last four weeks of the third semester; if the candidate performs all part-examinations of the historical and legal state examination no later than two weeks after the beginning of any further semester, this semester shall be counted as the first valid semester of the second study section (Section 2, paragraph 2 of the Decree of 24 October 1893, No 204, on the modification of the studies and state examinations at the Faculty of Law and State Sciences, as amended by the Decree of 18 September 1919, No 510 Coll.), if the other prescribed conditions are otherwise fulfilled.
(2) Partial examinations of the examination subjects of the judicial or state-owned state examination and its corresponding strict doctoral examinations shall take place not earlier than the last four weeks of the last semester.
(3) If the candidate so requests, he may perform partial examinations from several or all test subjects of the same state examination or strict doctoral examination on the same day.
(1) The faculty professorship shall establish the order in which the sub-examinations of individual state examinations and the strict examinations of doctoral students are held.
(2) If the candidate has failed the partial examination of a test subject, he may not undergo the partial examination of another subject of the same state examination, after a strict doctoral examination.
(1) If the candidate has not received the partial examination of the state examination, he may repeat it per month; If he did not pass the same test after the second time, he may repeat it in three months.
(2) If the candidate has not completed a strict doctoral examination in the partial examination, he may repeat it in four months; If he did not pass the same test after the second test, he may repeat it in six months.
(3) If the candidate did not pass a partial examination of state examination or a strict examination of doctoral medicine for the third time, he could no longer be admitted to state examinations, after strict examination of doctoral studies at any Czechoslovak Faculty of Law and State Sciences and the rank of doctor of law achieved by him at a university abroad, he could not be nostalgic.
The partial tests shall be carried out before the examination commissioner of the test subject concerned, designated by the chairman of the test panel. The partial examination for the third time shall take place before a panel composed of the Chairman of the Examination Committee (his / her representative) and at least one Examination Commissioner.
(1) All provisions concerning state examinations and strict doctoral examinations at the faculties of law and state sciences contrary to the provisions of this Regulation are hereby repealed. Without prejudice to the study concessions provided under the Government Decree of 25 May 1945, No. 9 Coll., on transitional measures at Czech universities, students who were prevented from studying by closing Czech universities between 1939 and 1945.
(2) Until a new detailed adaptation of the sub-tests introduced by this Regulation has taken place, the Minister for Education and Education shall provide details.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication and shall apply in the Czech and Moravian-Silesian States; they are carried out by the Minister for Education and Education.
