DECLARATION
of 11 May 2009
on the restriction of dangerous chemicals and dangerous chemicals
In agreement with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of the Environment provides, pursuant to § 26 paragraph 3 of Act No. 356 / 2003 Coll., on Chemicals and Chemical Products and amending certain laws, as amended by Act No. 371 / 2008 Coll.:
Subject matter
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
Phosphorus compounds
Textile washing products with a phosphorus concentration of more than 0,5% by weight shall not be placed on the market and sold to consumers. Restrictions on placing on the market shall not apply:
(a) laundry detergents used for industrial and institutional washing by trained staff;
(b) laundry detergents intended for export or distribution to other Member States of the European Communities.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 June 2009.
