DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 24 October 1989
on the issue of commemorative silver storeys for the 250th anniversary of the death of Jan Kupecký
Federal Ministry of Finance pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on Money Reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins, in an agreement with the State Bank of Czechoslovakia declares:
(1) The 250th anniversary of the death of the painter Jan Kupecký is issued by the commemorative silver hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as the "hundred crowns").
(2) Hunting from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of the stocron is 13 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 31 mm, the edge is serrated.
(1) On the face of the Stokron is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and around it in an unclosed copy is the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." Under the national emblem there is "100 CZK" in the row.
(2) On the back of the stokoruna is shown painter Jan Kupecký in a beret, with pallet in left and brush in right hand. His name "JAN KUPECKÝ" is in the copy on the right, the year "1740-1990" in the copy on the left.
(3) The author of the hundred crown design is the academic sculptor Jarmila Truhlíková-Spíváková. The initials of her name "JTS" are located at the top of the palette.
This Decree shall take effect on 15 December 1989.
