DECLARATION
of 28 May 2015
on the issue of gold coin for CZK 10,000 for the 600th anniversary of the burning of Master Jan Hus
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 3 July 2015 a commemorative gold coin is issued for CZK 10,000 for the 600th anniversary of the burning of Master Jan Hus ("coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 31,107 g, its diameter 34 mm and 2.45 mm. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance up to 0,062 g is allowed and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) On the front of the coin is the motive of the cross. The upper part of the coin is the composition of heraldic animals from a large state emblem - the middle is the Czech lion, the right is the Silesian eagle and the left is the Moravian eagle. The Czech lion is located in the upper part of the cross. Inside the cross is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "10,000 CZK." To the right and left of the cross is a transcript of one of the sermons of Master John Hus. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of composing the letters "No" and "M" at the bottom edge of the coin.
(2) On the back of the coin is a stylized representation of the figure of Master Jan Hus. On the left is the text "MISTER JAN HUS" and on the right the numbers "1415 - 2015." Images of the character and texts together create a stylized cross. On the right of the year "2015" is the author's initials of the graphic design of Jakub Orava coin, which consists of the letter "O" in the frame.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This Decree shall take effect on 3 July 2015.
