DECLARATION
Minister for Finance

on the issue of commemorative silver 50 crowns for the 50th anniversary of the declaration of the Czechoslovak Republic and the 20th anniversary of the victory of the Czech working people
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
On the 50th anniversary of the declaration of the Czechoslovak Republic and 20th anniversary of the victory of the Czechoslovak working people, commemorative silver 50 crowns are issued.
(1) The silver silver 50korons are driven by an alloy of 900 pieces of silver and 100 pieces of copper. The gross weight of 50 kroner is 20 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 50 koruna is 37 mm, its edge is smooth with the repeating ornament of the wave - cross, which is made by influence.
(2) On the face of the commemorative silver fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in the upper half; next to it on the left is the year "1948" and on the right is the year "1968." In the lower half there is the inscription "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC 'in three horizontal lines. The value designation" 50 Ccs' is in two rows below. The authors are Imrich SVITANA and Ján ZORIKÁK whose names "SVITANA ZORIKÁK" are placed in the line under the name "Kčs."
(3) On the back of the commemorative 50 crown is the left profile of the girl's head symbolizing the Republic, ceremonially decorated with the fancies of linden and flowers. At the edge there are "1918" and "1968" in the unclosed circle. The proposal is the work of academic sculptor Jiří HARCUBY, whose name "HARCUBA" is placed downstairs.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
