DECLARATION
Ministry of Finance, Prices and Wages of the Czech Republic
of 27 April 1990
amending Decree No. 123 / 1974 Coll., determining the scope and conditions of statutory liability insurance for damage caused by the operation of motor vehicles operated by the Czech State Insurance Corporation
The Ministry of Finance, Prices and Wages of the Czech Republic provides, in agreement with the participating ministries and other central authorities of the state administration pursuant to § 16 (1) (c) of Government Decree No. 54 / 1953 Coll., on road traffic, as amended by the legal measure of the Bureau of the National Assembly No. 13 / 1956 Coll.:
Decree No. 123 / 1974 Coll., laying down the scope and conditions of statutory liability insurance for damage caused by the operation of motor vehicles operated by the Czech State Insurance Company, is amended as follows:
1. in Article 3 (2):
"(2) The insurance event is the creation of an obligation on the insured to compensate for this damage. Where the competent authority decides to make such compensation, the insurance event shall only occur on the date on which the decision under which the insurance undertaking is to comply became final. ';
2. In Paragraph 11 (1), the words "after an insurance claim 'are replaced by the words" after a fact which could give rise to the right to the performance of an insurance undertaking'.
3. In Paragraph 11 (2) (b), the words "with an insurance event 'are replaced by the words" with damage caused'.
4. Paragraph 17 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) Insurance shall be paid without calling for a postal order or transfer from an account held with a money institution. The registration number of the relevant motor vehicle shall be indicated in the proof of payment of the premiums; If the motor vehicle has no registration, the engine number shall be indicated. ';
5. Paragraph 24 (2) is deleted.

Unless otherwise provided for in this Decree, the relevant provisions of the Civil Code shall apply mutatis mutandis if he is an insured citizen; if the insured organisation is an insurance undertaking, the relevant provisions of the Economic Code shall apply mutatis mutandis. ';
This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 1990.
