THE LAW
of 18 December 1965
on the national economic development plan and the State budget for 1966
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Tasks of the State Plan
(1) The main tasks of the national economic development plan for 1966, which aims to create the preconditions for ensuring further tasks for the long-term development of the national economy by 1970, which will be included in the fourth five-year plan, are in particular:
(a) the national pension shall be increased by around 3.8%;
(b) investment construction, including general repairs, shall amount to CZK 53.7 billion;
(c) the retail turnover shall be EUR 116.6 billion.
(d) in Slovakia the production volume will increase by about 10% and the investment construction, including general repairs, will reach almost EUR 16.9 billion.
(2) For the development of production and the growth of social productivity, the assumptions will be made by gradually implementing an improved system of planned management of the national economy.
Tasks of the State Budget
In line with the objectives of the national economic development plan, the State budget for 1966 provides funding to ensure the planned growth of the national economy and affects its effectiveness.
Determination of State Budget
(1) The total revenue and expenditure of the State budget are determined by the amounts of CZK 152 904 720 000.
(2) The national budget shall contain the budgets of the national committees, the revenue and expenditure of which shall be determined by the amounts of CZK 34 792 200 000.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1966.
