DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 4 December 1969
amending Decree No 47 / 1964 Coll., on monetary services to citizens, as amended by Decree No 45 / 1965 Coll.
For the implementation of § 325 to 344 of the Civil Code No. 40 / 1964 Coll. and § 17 and § 22 of Act No. 84 / 1952 Coll., on the Organisation of Money:
Článek I
Decree No 47 / 1964 Coll., on monetary services to citizens, as amended by Decree No 45 / 1965 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 17 reads as follows:
"Deposits on ordinary holding books interest 2%. If a six-month notice period is agreed for deposit withdrawals, these deposits shall be remunerated at 3% and if a 12-month notice period is agreed, 4%. ';
2. Paragraph 18 reads as follows:
"(1) The notice period for withdrawals may only be agreed upon when a deposit relationship is established. The savings bank will note the negotiation of the notice period in the deposit book.
(2) A deposit redeemable at notice may be collected by the depositor in part or in full before the expiry of the period of notice or without prior notice. Of the amounts thus collected, the depositor is obliged to pay savings compensation for non-compliance with the notice period, namely:

1000 CZK for each month and for which the deposit is paid before the deadline. If the notice has not been given at all, compensation shall be calculated for the period of notice agreed.
(3) The depositor may repeat the notice after the agreed notice period. If the depositor has given notice and does not withdraw the deposit within two months of the expiry of the notice period, the notice shall become ineffective.
(4) Interest credited to a deposit redeemable at notice may be collected by the depositor without notice and without any obligation to pay the refund referred to in paragraph 2 within two months of the end of the period for which the interest was credited to the account.
(5) Compensation for non-compliance with the notice period is not required where the deposit is transferred to another holding book with the same or, where appropriate, longer notice period. "
3. Paragraph 34 reads as follows:
"(1) Annual interest rates on loans to citizens shall not exceed 10%.
(2) For loans outstanding within the time limit of the amounts granted by the judicial decision, the annual interest from the start of the delay shall be twice the agreed interest rate but not less than 6% and not more than 12%. "
4. Paragraph 40 (2) reads as follows:
"If the loan referred to in paragraph 1 has not been repaid within the time limit, the annual interest shall be twice as high as the interest rate fixed from the start of the delay, but not less than 6% and not more than 12%. ';
Článek II
The Order of the Ministry of Finance No. 45 / 1965 Coll., amending Decree No. 47 / 1964 Coll., on Money Services to Citizens is hereby repealed.
Článek III
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1970.
