DECLARATION
Central Trade Union Councils
of 13 December 1984
on amendments to the Order of the Central Council of Trade Unions No 165 / 1979 Coll., on sickness insurance of certain workers and on the provision of sickness insurance benefits to citizens in special cases
The Central Council of Trade Unions, in agreement with the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, provides, pursuant to § 2 (3) (c), § 9, § 51 (1) and (2) and § 63 (2) of Act No. 54 / 1956 Coll., on sickness insurance for employees, as amended by Act No. 16 / 1959 Coll., Act No. 87 / 1968 Coll. and Act No. 148 / 1983 Coll.:
The Decree of the Central Council of Trade Unions No 165 / 1979 Coll., on the sickness insurance of certain workers and on the provision of sickness insurance benefits to citizens in special cases, as amended by Decree No 155 / 1983 Coll. and Decree No 79 / 1984 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 44 (3), the amount of 30 Ccs is replaced by 42 Ccs and 25 Ccs by 35 Ccs.
2. In Paragraph 50 (2), the amount of 78 CZK is replaced by the amount of 96 CZK.
3. Paragraph 50 (3) is added as follows:
"(3) A student who has received a secondary, full secondary or university education and who has not been able to enter an agreed employment for a serious illness or serious accident may be granted a sickness benefit from the deductible earnings which he would likely have made if he had entered an agreed employment, but first from the date on which he was to take up that employment. However, the support period shall be calculated from the first day of incapacity for work. The district sickness insurance administration responsible for the student's place of residence shall decide on the grant of the sickness referred to in this paragraph; the sickness care also pays off. The sickness insurance thus declared shall replace the sickness benefit which the student may be entitled to under paragraph 1. ';
4. In Paragraph 51 (4), the first sentence is replaced by the following: "The amount of monetary aid in maternity over a calendar day shall be 40 CZK for students who have received higher education, 40 CZK for other students and 30 CZK for other students."
5. In Paragraph 97 (2), the amount of 78 CZK is replaced by 96 CZK.
6. In Paragraph 98 (4), the amount of 21 Cds is replaced by 26 Cds.
7. In Paragraph 104 (2), the amount of 16 CZK is replaced by 20 CZK.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1985.
