DECLARATION

which are issued for the purposes of additional leave of staff lists of certain types of work and work places
The Ministry of Health shall, in agreement with the Central Council of Trade Unions and other participating central bodies, provide, pursuant to Section 1 (2) of Government Decree No. 28 / 1960 Coll., for additional leave of employees:
List of types of work in laboratories with highly virulent material
(Paragraph 1 (1) (c) of Decree-Law No 28 / 1960 Coll.)
Laboratory work with highly virulent material are:
(a) working with material containing the seeds of the plague, Asian cholera, yellow fever, smallpox, spills, Q-fever, glanders, melioidoses, rabies, tularaemia, parrots disease and other ornitosis, viral inflammation of the brain and brain, toxoplasmosis, listeriosis, smoked, histoplasmosis, coccidiomycosis and torulose, and Sabin virus B,
1. in the culture of micro-organisms and the treatment of toxins;
2. processing of material suspected of having a micro-organism content;
3. in the treatment of experimental animals infected with micro-organisms,
4. the treatment of humans and animals suspected of being infected by any of the micro-organisms;
5. for the destruction of cultures of micro-organisms, residues of materials and toxins; or
6. when cleaning areas where highly virulent material is processed or where animals infected with highly virulent material are kept;
(b) any work
1. in the cultivation of poliomyelitic viruses,
2. in the preparation of brucellosis antigens and vaccines, including experimental work on brucellosis;
3. in the preparation of salmonella antigens and vaccines, including experimental work with salmonella, in the preparation of phages and in phage-typing;
4. with live cultures of the recipient, in particular the Nelson Test; or
5. with the toxins of sporing microbes.
List of types of works and workplaces in the infectious components of health and veterinary facilities, in laboratories and in workplaces mainly used for investigating or processing infectious materials
(Paragraph 1 (1) (f) of Decree-Law No 28 / 1960 Coll.)
The following facilities are the infectious components of health and veterinary facilities, laboratories and workplaces which are primarily used for the investigation or processing of infectious materials:
1. Infectious separation of hospitals, clinics and other health facilities and scientific, research, teaching and control institutes,
2. Infectious parts of other departments of such establishments, where they are located sick with sexual diseases, trachoma and roses,
3. the pathology-anatomical department, the judicial medical department and the chemical laboratories of these establishments and the veterinary pathology-anatomical and judicial medical departments,
4. psychiatric hospitals and homes of pensioners, where carriers of germ diseases are concentrated,
5. Epidemiological and disinfectant departments of hygienic-epidemiological stations,
6. establishments of veterinary service where animals infected or suspected of being infected with diseases communicable to humans are treated;
7. microbiological laboratories where the material containing or suspected of having pathogens is processed,
8. laboratories and facilities where bacterial antigens and vaccines are produced;
9. Isolation and quarantine facilities for animals sick or suspected of being infected or infected with diseases communicable to humans, sanitary slaughterhouses and sanitary separation of slaughterhouses,
10. animal collection and rendering centres;
11. storage of material subject to quarantine measures in relation to the fight against communicable diseases.
The health of harmful or particularly difficult work carried out at the workplaces referred to in § 2 are:
1. in the investigation, treatment and transport of patients with communicable diseases or carriers of pathogens;
2. in the case of autopsies, the processing of autopsy material and the processing of biopsies;
3. in the treatment and treatment of animals infected or suspected of being infected with diseases communicable to humans and other work with such animals;
4. the processing of material containing or suspected of the presence of pathogens and other material in an infectious environment;
5. carrying out and monitoring epidemiological and epidemiological investigations;
6. in the preparation of antigens and vaccines,
7. in the treatment and other work of infected experimental animals,
8. for cleaning and maintenance and repairs,
9. for the disposal of materials containing pathogens and for the washing of contaminated dishes and glass;
10. handling plant or animal material subject to quarantine measures in relation to the fight against communicable diseases; or
11. in the handling of accompanying documents, medical records and autopsy reports or other documents which have come into direct contact with the infectious material or come from an infectious environment.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect from the date of its publication.
