DECLARATION
of 17 May 2022
on the issue of commemorative silver five hundred crowns with enamel "Motorcycle Jawa 250"
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 15 June 2022 a commemorative silver coin is issued with the enamel "Motorcycle Jawa 250" of 500 CZK (hereinafter referred to as "five hundred crowns").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matt relief.
(3) Five hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 koruna is 25 g, its diameter 40 mm and its strength 2,6 mm. In the case of a five-hundredcrown embossing, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,50 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of the five-hundred crown in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five-hundred crown in special design is smooth with the feature "ČNB * MOTOCYKL * CHIVAK *."
(1) On the front of the five hundred crowns are shown 3 views on the part of the Jawa 250 motorcycle. The text "CZECH" is placed at the upper left edge of the coin. The text "REPUBLIC" is placed at the bottom right edge of the coin. The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "500 CZK" is located in the top right of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is placed at the lower left edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the five-hundred crown, Jawa 250 is represented by a motorcycle standing on the floor consisting of a partial motif from the character of its manufacturer and 2 fragments from technical drawings of the motorcycle. The authentic colour of the motorcycle is indicated on the coin by the use of a red and black synthetic enamel. When the top edge of the coin is "JAWA 250," at the right edge of the coin is "2022." The initials of the coins by Petra Brodská, DiS., which are composed of linked letters "P" and "B" are located at the left edge of the coin.
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree shall enter into force on 15 June 2022.
