THE LAW
of 20 March 2008
on the acceptance by the Czech Republic of loans from the European Investment Bank to finance national shares for projects co-financed by the Operational Programme Transport in the programming period 2007 to 2013
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
(1) The Czech Republic is entitled to receive loans from the European Investment Bank to finance national shares for projects co-financed by the Operational Programme Transport in the programming period 2007-2013 totalling up to CZK 34 000 000 000 000. Individual loans under credit agreements concluded with the European Investment Bank shall be payable within 40 years of the date of signature of the relevant credit agreement.
(2) A project co-financed by the Operational Programme Transport is a project for which a decision by the European Commission confirming the aid has been issued or for which the Ministry of Transport has approved the support from the Operational Programme Transport.
The appropriations received under Article 1 (1) may exceed the total expenditure of the State Budget approved by the State Budget Act in the financial year in which the funds thus obtained are used. This amount shall be amended in the relevant financial year by the balance of the State budget and the appropriations.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
