Government Regulation
of 12 September 1950
on the registration of hops.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic, with the agreement of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 42 (1) of Act No. 241 / 1948 Coll., on the first five-year Economic Plan for the Development of the Czechoslovak Republic (Act on the Five-Year Plan):
(1) hop plants (hop parcels) must be registered.
(2) The registration is carried out by entry in the Protocol (Section 3), which is headed by the Regional National Committee.
The farmer of hops (owner, smuggler, user of hops, etc.), hereinafter referred to as "grower ', is obliged to notify the local national committee of the information necessary for the entry into the record according to the actual condition.
The Ministry of Agriculture shall establish a decree in the Official Journal which particulars and their changes are to be notified to the local national committee for registration (in particular, the establishment, extension, reduction, transfer or cancellation of the hops and changes in the person producing them) and shall specify the model of the protocol.
The local national committee shall examine the accuracy and completeness of the notification and shall enter the information found in the protocol, which shall also be signed by the grower.
(1) The registration report shall be completed in triplicate. One copy shall be retained by the local national committee and two shall be sent to the district national committee, to which it shall also report any changes to the registration.
(2) A separate protocol shall be completed for each hops.
(3) The Regional National Committee will review the completed and signed protocols and list them by municipality and growers; indicate also the changes reported.
(1) The breeder is entitled to consult and obtain extracts from the county national committee in a protocol concerning his hops.
(2) The right to consult the protocols and to obtain extracts thereof is also for the authorities and bodies responsible for implementing Act No. 89 / 1934 Coll., on the compulsory grading of hops and the adjustment of the extent of the cultivation of hops, and this Regulation, as well as the rules issued pursuant to them.
Government Decree No. 128 / 1937 Coll., on the registration of parcels planted with hops, is repealed.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be carried out by the Minister for Agriculture in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
