Decret of the President of the Republic
of 27 October 1945
establishing the Research Institute of Education, Jan Amos Komenský.
On the proposal of the Government,
The Research Institute Jan Amos Komenský in Prague and its branch in Brno are set up for scientific research in the field of education and for preparing the effective use of their results in education.
(1) The organisation status of the Research Institute of Education and its branch will be issued by the Minister for Education and Education in agreement with the Minister for Finance. The Statute shall determine the necessary number of posts for the staff of the Institute and its branch and the assigned teaching staff. These powers are subject to a duty allowance as teachers' forces assigned to the Ministry of Education and Education.
(2) The research institute and its branch are subject to administrative supervision by the Minister for Education and Education.
This decree takes effect on the day of its publication and applies in the Czech and Moravian-Silesian countries; It shall be carried out by the Minister for Education and Education in agreement with the Minister for Finance.
