THE LAW
of 15 March 2002
on the granting of a State guarantee to the Czech Republic for a loan to finance the investment costs of the modernisation of the first railway corridor Děčín - Praha - Břeclav
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
(1) The Czech Republic grants a State guarantee to Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, based in Frankfurt am Main, for the provision of a loan, which it will grant under the loan agreement concluded on 1 November 2001, to the Czech Railways State Organisation to finance the investment costs of the modernisation of the Děčín - Prague - Břeclav Railway Transit Corridor in the following line sections:
(a) Graves - Lovosice,
(b) Praha- Bubenech - Kralupy nad Vltavou,
(c) Kralupy over Vltavou - Vranians,
d) Ústí nad Labem - Decin,
(e) Choceň - Ústí nad Orlicí,
(f) Cologne - Expansion,
g) Ústí nad Orlicí - Česká Třebová.
(2) The State guarantee referred to in paragraph 1 shall be granted for the principal of a loan of EUR 46 000 000 and the interest and charges associated with the loan agreement on the granting of the loan if the loan is due by 30 December 2018.
(3) The Treaty providing for a State guarantee under this Act is negotiated on behalf of the Czech Republic by the Minister for Finance.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
