on the construction of the Academy House - Memorial November 17
On the proposal of the Government,
The Czechoslovak State acquires ownership of real estate, registered in inserts No 801, 802, 936, 937, 940, 1552, 1556, 1574 and 1621 of the land books for the cadastral territory of Prague I and in inserts No 415, 420, 565, 621, 636, 641 and 666 of the land books for the cadastral territory of Prague V.
The Czechoslovak State devotes the property listed in § 1 as well as the property listed in insert No. 1622 of the Land Book for the cadastral territory of Prague I. Association of University Students in Prague for the construction of the Academic House under the Act of 9 October 1919, No. 547 Coll., on the construction and maintenance of the "Academic House in Prague."
(1) The Academic House in Prague is built as a "Memorial of November 17" to commemorate Czech students who were executed or dragged into German concentration camps on 17 November 1939.
(2) The building of the Academic House in Prague will be managed by a curatorium, the composition of which is laid down by the government by regulation.
The transfer of property ownership rights referred to in § 2 for the Union of higher education students shall be carried out in accordance with this Decree, without any burden. The transfer of ownership pursuant to Sections 1 and 2 shall be exempt from all taxes, levies and charges.
The Czechoslovak State will provide existing owners of real estate and persons whose rights are secured on the library's real estate with a general price if ownership of such real estate or the relevant rights have not been acquired by the President of the Republic of 25 October 1945, No. 108 Coll., on confiscation of enemy property and National Recovery Funds.
In the event of the liquidation of the association "Association of Higher Students in Prague" the government will decide on ownership to the Academy House in Prague by regulation.
This Decree shall take effect on 17 November 1945; It shall be carried out by Ministers for Education and Education, Justice, Finance, Transport and Labour Protection and Social Welfare.
