DECLARATION
of 5 March 2004
on the issue of gold coins "Empire - castle Kachina" for CZK 2,000
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On 21 April 2004 the Gold Coins "Empire - Kachina Castle" are issued for CZK 2,000 (hereinafter referred to as "coins") as part of the "Ten Century of Architecture."
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coins and matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 6.22 g, its diameter is 20 mm and its strength is 1.6 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth. When the coin is embossed in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In weight, the tolerance allowed up to 0,062 g and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%.
§ 2
(1) On the front of the coin is a stylized front of the pavilion with four Doric columns ending the side wing of the castle Kačina. On the facade there is a composition of heraldic animals from a large state character of the Czech Republic styled into tympanone. In the middle there is a Czech lion, on the right Moravian eagle and on the left a Silesian eagle. Under heraldic animals, the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is placed above Doric columns. At the bottom edge of the coin under the front of the pavilion, the name of the "DESET STOLET ARCHITECTURE" cycle and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "2000 CZK" is in three rows. The words "DESET" and "TABLE" in the first row and the denomination and abbreviation of the currency in the third row separate dots. At the right and left edges of the coin in the middle, the plant ornament is bounded from the top and bottom by a dot. The bottom dot of the ornament on the left-hand side replaces the mint mark that hit the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin, at the top edge of the coin is shown the castle Kachina. In the bottom half of the coin there are two Doric columns, the vertices of which are placed in three rows of the text "GUARD CHINA EMPAR." In the fourth row below this text are the initials of the author of the graphic design of the coin Josef Oplištil, connected stylized letters "OJ," and the year "2004," indicating the year of the stamping. Author's initials and year separates period.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 15 April 2004.
