Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition
of 30 June 1988
on the principles governing the sale of agricultural products to members and workers of socialist organisations with agricultural production
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition provides, pursuant to § 391 (3) of the Economic Code No. 109 / 1964 Coll., as amended, in agreement with the Federal Ministry of Finance and under § 82 (2) of Act No. 90 / 1988 Coll., on Agricultural Cooperatives, after consulting the Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition of the Czech Socialist Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition of the Slovak Socialist Republic, the Central Committee of the Association of Cooperative Farmers and the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers:
(1) Unified agricultural cooperatives, joint ventures and state organisations with agricultural production (hereinafter referred to as "the holding") may, in accordance with the principles laid down in this Decree, sell to their members and workers, including pensioners - former workers (hereinafter referred to as "workers") agricultural products for their own use and the needs of members of their household. 1)
(2) An agricultural holding may sell agricultural products to its workers if it fulfils the nominal tasks of the state plan and the obligations under the economic contracts.
(1) Agricultural products must come from their own agricultural production of the holding or from agricultural production in which the holding participates under a cooperation contract. 2)
(2) The object of the sale may be:
(a) cereals, with the exception of cereals for food purposes;
(b) pigs for slaughter;
(c) other agricultural products such as potatoes, fruit, vegetables, milk, poultry, eggs, piglets, sheep, freshwater fish, honey bees, straw.
(3) The agricultural holding determines each year in its economic plan the specific quantities of agricultural products intended for sale to workers during the year concerned; that quantity shall be fixed taking into account the current level of sales in the previous period, without weakening the necessary feed base necessary to ensure the planned livestock production of the holding and not exceeding 1 tonne of cereals per worker.
(4) In the event that the planned production of agricultural products is not achieved during the year concerned, the quantity intended for sale to the workers referred to in paragraph 3 shall be reduced at least in the same proportion as that in which the planned production has not been achieved; where the total quantity has not been sold out in the previous three years, the reduction may be reduced by such non-drawing.
(5) An agricultural holding may sell annually to a worker a pig for slaughter of up to 150 kg live weight; the quantity of cereals shall be reduced by 0,6 tonnes for the simultaneous sale of cereals.
(1) The agricultural holding sells agricultural products to its workers for the following payments:

(2) Agricultural products not referred to in paragraph 1 shall be granted at the rate fixed by the holding taking into account the quality of the products and the buying-in prices.
(3) The agricultural holding may grant its pensioners a contribution to the partial or full remuneration of the agricultural products sold. (3)
(1) Closer conditions for the sale of agricultural products to their workers shall be determined by the holding in accordance with the principles laid down in this Decree in its statutes or collective agreement.
(2) The Joint Undertaking's founders may agree in the contract establishing the Joint Undertaking how they will provide agricultural products for the purposes of their sale to the Joint Undertaking's staff in accordance with this Decree.
The decree of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition of 17.12.1984, No FM 01-2110 / 1984 on the sale of agricultural products to workers of state organisations and joint agricultural holdings with agricultural production, reg. 7 / 1985 Coll.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1989.
