THE LAW
of 13 September 1968
temporarily adjusting certain time limits
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
§ 1
The time limits laid down by law for the exercise of rights whose expiry would result in limitation or termination of the law and which were to expire after 20 August 1968 shall not expire until 30 days after the entry into force of this law. This is not the case if the time limits which began to run after 1 September 1968.
§ 2
Paragraph 1 shall apply mutatis mutandis to the time limits laid down by law for the application to be waived and for the application for renewal.
§ 3
(1) In economic and legal relations in international trade, the organisation is not late for the period during which it was unable to fulfil its obligation for circumstances arising from the exceptional situation arising on 21 August 1968.
(2) In other legal relations, there will be no consequences of delays provided for in the legislation if the obligation to be fulfilled between 21 August 1968 and 31 August 1968 is fulfilled no later than eight days after the date of entry into force of this Act.
§ 4
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
