amending and supplementing Government Regulation No. 12 / 1968 Coll., adjusting remuneration and allowances and certain other ratios of Members of the National Committees and of the Commissions and Assets of the National Committees
The Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic orders pursuant to § 17 paragraph 3 of Act No. 69 / 1967 Coll., on National Committees, and § 124 paragraph 3 of the Labour Code No. 65 / 1965 Coll.:
Government Regulation No. 12 / 1968 Coll., on the adjustment of remuneration and allowances and certain other ratios of members of national committees and members of committees and assets of national committees, shall be amended as follows:
1. In Article 2 (2), the words "or the Chairman of the Committee of People's Control of the National Committee" shall be inserted after the words "President of the Commission."
2. the following paragraph 3 is added to Article 4:
"(3) Remuneration may be granted to long-term members of national committees for significant work and life years under the conditions applicable to the staff of national committees. *) '
3. Paragraph 5 is renumbered paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) The social security authority responsible for deciding on pension benefits shall, at the request of a Member who has been a long-term unemployed Member, determine the pension from the average monthly earnings recorded on the gross earnings achieved in employment and on the gross remuneration obtained for the performance of his duties in the national committee, including that part of the wage-exempt remuneration, for the last ten or, where applicable, for the last five calendar years before the year in which he ended up performing his duties, provided that this average is more favourable to him than the average monthly earnings recorded under the social security rules. This advantage is granted only if the long-term, released Member has not been removed from the post of Member for the disappointment of the trust of voters or for the act of undignified office of Member. '
4. Article 6 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The national committee shall, unless it has been removed from the role of Member for the purpose of disappointing the trust of voters or for an act of undignified office of a Member, grant a contribution equal to the difference between their current earnings for the organisation and their current higher remuneration for the performance of their duties. This allowance shall be granted for a period of six months and shall be paid through the organisation. Members who have completed their duties for a period of two years prior to reaching the age needed to qualify for an old-age pension shall be granted this allowance during the course of the same year; in cases of special consideration, in particular where a Member has held this post for at least two term of office, such contribution may be granted, with the agreement of the Council of the National Committee of the Higher Level and Members of the Regional National Committees and of the National Committee of the Slovak Socialist Republic of Bratislava, with the agreement of the Ministry of Interior, until the age required to qualify for an old-age pension. ';
5. The second sentence of Paragraph 8 (2) reads as follows:
"This also applies to members and co-workers of the Committees of People's Control of National Committees. '
This Government Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
