of 12 May 2015
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the deciphering of the Chettian by Bedřich the Terrible
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On June 3, 2015, a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 ("two hundred koruna") is issued to the 100th anniversary of the deciphering of Chetsky by Bedřich Horný.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,25 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the two hundred crown, the left half of the coin field shows the prints of four sealed rollers discovered by Bedrich the Terrible in ancient Canes. In the upper right half of the coin field is the composition of three heraldic animals from a large state emblem in the shields - above there is a Czech lion and under it is a Moravian eagle and a Silesian eagle. Under the picture of heraldic animals is the signature of Bedřich the Terrible, which is located despite the second seal cylinder from below. Under the picture of heraldic animals is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK." The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "Za" and "M" is at the bottom edge of the two hundred crowns.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is a portrait of Bedřich the Terrible in the background of the cuneiform text, containing a sentence that gave Bedřich the Terrible the first impulse to decipher the Chettitian language. At the bottom right edge of the portrait, the text "VA-A-TAR... WATER..." is in two rows. Under the portrait, the text "BEDROCH GRAPHIC" and "DIFFERENCE OF CHETTY" is in three rows. The word "DISTRIBUTION" is bounded by a dot at the beginning and at the end. On the left of the word "DISTRIBUTION" is the year "1915," on the right of it is the year "2015." At the bottom edge of the two hundred crown, the initials of the author are two hundred crowns of academic painter Vladimir Pavlici, which are composed of the associated letters "VP."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree shall take effect on 3 June 2015.
