GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 2 May 1996
implementing Act No. 247 / 1995 Coll., on Elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic and amending and supplementing certain other laws, and supplementing the Decree of the Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic No. 512 / 1991 Coll., implementing Act No. 216 / 1991 Coll., on travel documents and travel abroad, as amended by Decree No. 267 / 1993 Coll.
The Government orders the implementation of Act No. 247 / 1995 Coll., on Elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic and on the amendment and addition of certain other laws, and pursuant to § 4 (3) of Act No. 216 / 1991 Coll., on Travel Documents and Travel abroad:
(1) The Municipal Office, the Municipal Office, the City Office, the City Office, the District or Local Office of the City of Prague, and the Territorial Statutory Cities, the City District Office or the Urban District Office (hereinafter referred to as the "Municipal Office"), which has a voter on the separate electoral list (1), which states as a reason that it does not reside on the territory of the Czech Republic, will invite that voter to sign an affidavit confirming that he exercises his right as a voter registered only on that list. The affidavit shall be attached by the municipal authority to the specific electoral list.
(2) The Regional Electoral Commission, before which, on the day of the elections, a voter will come to the vote, stating that he is not on the electoral list because he is not permanently resident in the Czech Republic, shall proceed to the entry of that voter on a special electoral list similar to that of the municipal office referred to in paragraph 1.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
