CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 20 December 1970
on measures in the system of federal central bodies headed by a member of the Czechoslovak Socialist Government
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this constitutional law:
(1) The following federal ministries operate in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic:
Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Federal Ministry of National Defence,
Federal Ministry of the Interior,
Federal Ministry of Finance,
Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade,
Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
(2) The following federal ministries are hereby established:
Federal Ministry of Technical and Investment Development,
Federal Ministry of Fuel and Energy,
Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Nutrition,
(1) A State Planning Commission is established as a central body of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic's state administration for the creation of a socio-economic strategy and nation-economic planning.
(2) The State Planning Commission is composed of the Chairman of the State Planning Commission, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, the Vice-Presidents of the State Planning Commission, the members of the governments of the Czech Socialist Republic and the Slovak Socialist Republic in charge of the management of the planning bodies of the Czech Socialist Republic and the Slovak Socialist Republic, and of other members. The President of the State Planning Commission is appointed and withdrawn by the President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. Vice-Presidents and other members of the State Planning Commission are appointed and dismissed by the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
(3) The work of the State Planning Commission and its apparatus is managed and decided by the Chairman of the State Planning Commission.
(1) The Committee of People's Control of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic is hereby established as the central body of the state administration of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic on the control section.
(2) The Chairman of the Committee of People's Control of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic is a member of the Government. The Committee of People's Control of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic has 12 to 16 members appointed and withdrawn by the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
(3) The work of the Committee of People's Control of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and its apparatus is managed by the Committee's Chairman, the Committee's Committee of People's Control of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
A Federal Price Office, headed by a member of the Czechoslovak Socialist Government, is hereby established.
Constitutional Act No. 171 / 1968 Coll., on the establishment of federal ministries and federal committees is hereby repealed.
This constitutional law shall take effect on 1 January 1971.
