DECLARATION

on applications for compensation for property in the People's Republic of Romania under Act No. 100 / 1961 Coll.
The Ministry of Finance provides, pursuant to Article 5 of Act No. 100 / 1961 Coll., on the modification of certain claims and obligations between Czechoslovak and Romanian persons (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"):
The replacement for Czechoslovak property in the Romanian People's Republic, which is subject to the Agreement concluded on 3 August 1960 between the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Romanian People's Republic on the modification of certain open financial and property issues, published by Decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs No. 51 / 1961 Coll., will be subject to proceedings, but only if an application for reimbursement for such property is filed.
(1) Refund procedures may be applied for only:
(a) claims and claims of every kind incurred before 31 December 1948 and which were terminated under the Agreement (§ 1) or under § 1 of the Act which had on 3 August 1960 Czechoslovak legal persons against Romanian natural and legal persons and Czechoslovak natural persons against Romanian legal persons, *)
(b) property and rights (hereinafter referred to as "property") concerned by Romanian nationalisation, expropriation or other legal measures restricting or withdrawing ownership rights, if the property belonged to a Czechoslovak legal or natural person, both on the date on which the measure was taken and on 3 August 1960.
(2) Those who were Czechoslovak legal persons shall be considered to be Czechoslovak legal persons both on the date on which the measure was taken and on 3 August 1960. Persons who had Czechoslovak nationality on the date on which the said measure was taken and on 3 August 1960 shall be regarded as Czechoslovak natural persons.
(1) Persons residing (having their registered office) in the Czech Republic will apply to the Central liquidator of the money institutions and businesses in Prague 1 - Malá Strana, Dražický nam. no. 7. Persons residing (having their registered office) in Slovakia will apply to the Regional liquidator in Bratislava, ul. Leningrad 24.
(2) The application must be submitted on the prescribed form * *) by 30 June 1962 at the latest and must be accompanied by the necessary documents (e.g. land book extract, market contract, deed of acquisition of the inheritance or other official documents certifying the applicant's claim).
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be taken into account.
Any other document referred to in § 2 does not replace the application under this Order.
National Socialist sector organisations do not submit applications for compensation.
The filing of an application shall not give rise to a legal right to reimbursement.
The provisions of this Order shall not apply to securities issued by the Romanian State and by Romanian legal persons established in the current territory of the Romanian People's Republic. There will be a special arrangement for this property.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
