laying down information obligations on the recipients of animal products at the place of destination

§ 1
Subject matter
(1) This Regulation, following the directly applicable regulation of the European Union( 1), regulates the information obligation on the recipient of certain animal products2) at the place of destination (3) (hereinafter referred to as "the consignee").
(2) This Regulation shall not apply to the recipients of animals, the recipients of animal products intended for animal nutrition and the recipients of horns, antlers, hooves, hooves, wool, hair and feathers.
§ 2
Information obligation
(1) The beneficiary shall inform the Regional Veterinary Administration of:
(a) the species of animal products arriving at their destination;
(b) the quantities of animal products arriving at their destination;
(c) the Member State and the establishment from which the animal products are dispatched to their destination, including the approval or registration number of the establishment;
(d) the address of destination and the approval or registration number of the person operating the destination;
(e) the physical condition or presentation of the animal products arriving at their destination;
(f) the expected sales unit price at the place of delivery or sale excluding value added tax (4)
(2) The information referred to in paragraph 1 shall be notified by the beneficiary to the Regional Veterinary Administration in a manner which allows long-distance transmission of data through the State Veterinary Administration Information System so that it is received no later than 48 hours before the arrival of the animal products at the place of destination.
§ 3
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 15 May 2011.
