DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 4 October 1976
on the issue of the commemorative silver hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Viktor Kaplan
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the 100th anniversary of the birth of the inventor Viktor Kaplan, commemorative silver hundred crowns are issued.
(2) The silver stockings are driven by an alloy of 700 pieces of silver and 300 pieces of copper. The gross weight (weight) of the stocron is 15 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down is permitted in gross weight (weight) 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the stockron is 33 mm, on its edge is a repetitive influence of stylized five-pointed stars and commas parallel to the edges of the edge.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver stokron is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, around which the name of the state "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" is written from left to the circle. The designation of the value "100 CZK 'is placed in two rows in the middle under the national emblem.
(4) On the back of the commemorative silver stokron is a portrait of Viktor Kaplan in the right profile. His name "VIKTOR KAPLAN" is placed in a copy on the right, the years "1876-1976" left of the portrait. The author of the design for the commemorative silver stokron is academic sculptor Luděk Havelka, whose initials "LH" are located on the left side of the portrait at the edge of the collar.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
