Czech National Council
of 25 April 1990
on the competence of national committees in implementing certain provisions of the Law on the rental and subletting of non-residential premises
The Czech National Council decided on this law:
The Local National Committee, whose perimeter is a non-residential area, gives its consent
(a) to conclude a contract for the rental of rooms intended for the operation of trade and services, 1)
(b) a statement of the lease which arose from the right to use non-residential premises in accordance with the regulations in force before the Law on the rental and subletting of non-residential premises for the provision of medical, social, communications services, to ensure the activities of political parties, basic research workplaces, artistic creative activities, to perform theatrical, concert and awareness activities. 2)
The National Committee of the City of Prague, the District National Committees, the National Committee of the City of Brno, Plzeň, Ostrava and Ústí nad Labem are entitled to order the person who exercises the right to manage national property to rent non-residential space and to conclude a lease with a designated tenant, if it is necessary to place a state authority in the territory in which the National Committee exercises its functions. 3)
This Act shall take effect on 1 May 1990.
