DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 25 October 1978
on the withdrawal of coins by 5 halves of pattern 1953 and 1962
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares, pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform:
(1) Coins of 5 halves of model 1953 with the old State emblem and the name of the State "REPUBLIC OF CZECH-SLOVAKIA" (1) as well as the model 1962 with the new State emblem and the name of the State "CZECH-SLOVAKIA" (2) shall be withdrawn from circulation on 31 December 1978.
(2) The coins referred to in paragraph 1 shall be exchanged between 1 January 1979 and 30 June 1979, including all post offices, branches of state savings banks and branches of the State Bank of Czechoslovakia, between 1 July 1979 and 30 November 1979, including only the branches of the State Bank of Czechoslovakia.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1979.
