DECLARATION

on the issue of the commemorative silver CZK 50 for the 50th anniversary of the death of P. O. Hviezdoslav and the commemorative silver Hundred for the 100th anniversary of the death of J. Mánes
The Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll. and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the 50th anniversary of the death of Slovak poet Pavel Orszagh Hviezdoslav, commemorative silver fifty crowns are issued.
(2) The silver silver 50 crowns are rolled from an alloy of 700 pieces of silver and 300 pieces of copper. The gross weight of 50 kroner is 13 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 50 crown is 31 mm, its edge is smooth with ornamental influence, composed of alternating diamond squares and points.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and next to it in the copy from left in two rows inscription
"CZECH REPUBLIC
SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC '.
The value designation "50 'is placed under the national emblem below.
(4) On the back of the commemorative silver 50 crowns is the left profile of P. O. Hviezdoslav. His name "PAVOL ORSZÁGH" is placed at the left edge of the copy, the pseudonym "HVIEZDOLAV" in the form of the owner's signature in the middle of the mine. In the copy at the right edge are the dates "1921-1971." The design of the fifty crown is the work of the academic sculptor Professor František David, whose brand "D" is placed downstairs.
(1) For the 100th anniversary of the death of Czech painter Josef Mánes, commemorative silver hundred crowns are issued.
(2) The silver stockings are driven by an alloy of 700 pieces of silver and 300 pieces of copper. The gross weight of the stocron is 15 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the stocron is 33 mm, its edge is smooth with ornamental influence, composed of alternating cords and dots.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver stokron is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, under it in three rows inscription
"CZECH REPUBLIC
SOCIAL
THE REPUBLIC OF "
The value designation "100" is in the middle of the bottom. The design of the front side of the Stokron is the work of an academic sculptor, the laureate of the state prize Ján Kulich, whose brand "J. K." is placed downstairs.
(4) On the back of the commemorative silver stokron is the true profile of Josef Manes, on whose sides at the bottom is the inscription in the first row
"JOSEF MANES"
and below it in the second numbered year,
"1871" and "1971."
The author is the academic sculptor Petr Formánek, whose brand "F" is placed downstairs.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
