Slovak National Council
of 6 September 1968
on refunds and certain other proportions of members - non-Members of the Slovak National Council
The Slovak National Council decided on this law:
Members of the Slovak National Council as non-Members, elected pursuant to § 6 of Constitutional Act No. 77 / 1968 Coll. (hereinafter referred to as "members of the Slovak National Council '), may not be reduced to rights or rights arising from work or a similar relationship for the performance of their duties. The organisation is obliged to allow its worker, who is a member of the Slovak National Council, to perform his duties and to provide him with the necessary leave of absence.
(1) The members of the Slovak National Council are responsible for taking part in the meetings of the Slovak National Council or the bodies of the Slovak National Council of which they are members and for taking part on other occasions under the authority of the Bureau of the Slovak National Council, its chairman or the chairman of the Commission of the Slovak National Council, as well as for the time needed for travel to and from the designated place, both digestible and dormitory at the same level and under the same conditions as the members of the Slovak National Council.
(2) The members of the Slovak National Council are entitled to reimbursement of the actual travel expenses associated with public transport by public transport.
The members of the Slovak National Council shall receive compensation for the loss of earnings for the days referred to in Paragraph 2 (1) at the rate of the average earnings calculated over the last three months. Reimbursement of lost earnings shall be provided by an organisation where a member of the Slovak National Council is employed. The Member of the Slovak National Council, which is not in employment, will provide, as with the Slovak National Council, adequate compensation for lost earnings by the State.
(1) Members of the Slovak National Council, if they are fully relieved of their duties, the employment relationship shall be maintained. Instead of salary (other pay for work), they are entitled to a functional salary, the amount of which will be determined by the Bureau of the Slovak National Council. In functional salary is included also catering and dormitory according to § 2 (1)
(2) If a member of the Slovak National Council is simultaneously a member of the National Assembly, who is fully released for the duties of a Member, he shall be entitled to one functional salary, even higher.
If the provisions of Articles 3 and 4 (2) do not imply otherwise, compensation under this Act shall be granted from the budget of the Slovak National Council. They are paid by the Slovak National Council office.
This Act of the Slovak National Council takes effect on the day of its publication.
