DECLARATION
of 14 April 2023
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of the launch of the regular broadcasting of Czechoslovak radio
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 17 May 2023 the 100th anniversary of the launch of the regular broadcast of Czechoslovak radio is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief.
(3) Two hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,25 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,26 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) There is a radio microphone on the front of the two hundred koruna, one broadcasting mast is represented on the left of the mast and two broadcasting mast on the right, on which the radio waves are stylised. In the background there is a historical building of Kbela broadcasting station in the bottom right of the coin. On the circumference at the bottom edge of the coin is the text "CZECH REPUBLIC" in an incomplete copy. The denomination designation with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is placed at the bottom of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the letters "No" and "M" is located at the right edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the two-hundred crown is represented by a historic tent which is connected to the beginnings of radio broadcasting. Behind the tent is a broadcast mast and the tent is partially covered in the left part by the historical logo of Czechoslovak Radio from 1991. The texts "CZECH VOICE 'and" 1923-2023' appear in a copy around the coin. The initials of the author of the coin Mgr. Marie Šeborová, which are made up of composite letters "M" and "Š", are located next to the tent at the right edge of the coin.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This decree shall take effect on 17 May 2023.
