Government Regulation
of 11 December 1951
on changes in the organisation of regional national committees.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 43 paragraph 1 of Act No. 280 / 1948 Coll., on Regional Establishment:
Čl. I.
Regional National Committees have 30 to 40 members. Within these limits, their number shall be determined by the Minister of Interior or the Regional National Committee empowered by him.
Čl. II.
In order to enable councils of regional national committees and councils of up to 35,000 inhabitants to carry out their duties more easily, the Minister of the Interior or the Regional National Committee, authorised by him, may increase the number of their members up to a maximum so that each report can be conducted by one member of the Board as a referendum. The Minister for the Interior or the Regional National Committee authorised by him may also provide that the Chairman of the District National Committee, who still has one Deputy Director, shall have two Deputy Directors.
Čl. III.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1952; they shall be carried out by the Home Secretary in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
