on the external marking of the guards intended to protect forests, field property, hunting and fishing.
The Constitutional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on this law:
Persons who, under the regulations on the protection of forests, fields, hunting and fishing, are required to protect forests, field property, hunting and fishing and have carried out an oath of service shall bear a service badge in accordance with this Act.
(1) The service badge, as shown in the Annex to this Act, which is part of it, is made of white metal and has the shape of an ellipse; In the middle of the ellipse there is a small national character with a height of 5 cm and a width of 3,7 cm. In the upper part of the circumference belt is the inscription "Attachment Guard," in Slovakia "Tender Guard."
(2) The service badge shall be issued by the district national committee to the persons required to carry it; the purchase costs shall be borne by the person who appoints them.
The persons mentioned in § 1 are required to carry a service badge (§ 2) visibly on the left side of the breast. Other persons are not allowed to carry it.
Those who do not comply with the obligation under § 1 or who, contrary to the provisions of § 3, second sentence, wears a service badge, will be punished - if not for an offence of criminal nature - by the District National Committee for Administrative Infringement by fine up to 5.000 CZK or by prison (lock-up) within 14 days or both. If a fine has been imposed, a replacement prison sentence (lock-down) shall also be imposed in the event of non-availability, depending on the degree of guilt within 14 days. In addition to the fine, if the sentence is imposed at liberty, the sentence may not exceed 14 days, along with the prison detention penalty.
The validity of the provisions shall be revoked if the provisions are applicable, provided that they govern the same matter as this law; in particular, the applicability of the Government Decree of 10 October 1940, No 435 Coll., on the external designation of the official guard, and at the same time the Act of 21 February 1885, No 41 cz. z., on the external designation of the guards for the protection of agriculture and hunting, together with the order of the governor in the Czech Republic of 2 October 1885, No 42 cz. z., the Act of 29 May 1887, No 75 mor. z. z., on the external designation of the guards, on the protection of agriculture laid down and under the oath of 12 July 1887, No 34 slez. z., as amended by the Regulation of 12 June 1903, the Act of 29 May 1887, on the external designation of guards for the protection of agriculture laid down and under the oath of the Regional President of 12 July 1887, No 34 slez.
This Act shall take effect three months after its publication; it shall be implemented by the Minister for Agriculture in agreement with the Ministers involved.
