supplementing Decree No 5 / 1958 Ú. v. (Ú. l.)
on the issue of more detailed provisions on civil ID
The Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Socialist Republic provides, in agreement with the participating central authorities, pursuant to Section 13 of Act No. 75 / 1957 Coll., on Civil Documents:
Decree No 5 / 1958 Ú. v. (Ú. l.), which lays down more detailed rules on civil ID, shall be added as follows:
the following Section 5a is inserted after Section 5:
(1) The Public Security District Department also records in its identity card the penalty imposed by the final decision of the court.
(2) A citizen to whom a stay ban has been imposed by a court is required to appear at a call to the District Department of Public Security of his permanent residence, where he / she will be marked on his / her ID card with the imposition of a stay ban and the duration of that sentence.
(3) A citizen with whom the prohibition of residence has been or has been remitted has the right to apply for a new identity card in which the prohibition of residence will no longer be marked.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
