Decree of the Minister for the Interior
of 18 May 1949
on the deadline for applying for a return of citizenship to persons of German nationality.
According to Article 3 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of 2 August 1945, No 33 Coll., on the adaptation of Czechoslovak citizenship of persons of German and Hungarian nationality, I shall provide:
Persons of German nationality who have lost their nationality pursuant to § 1 of Decree No. 33 / 1945 Coll. of Czechoslovak citizenship and who are permanently resident in the territory of the Czechoslovak Republic may, from 1 June 1949 to 30 November 1949, request his return to the District National Committee of his residence.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 June 1949.
