amending Decree of the Minister for Transport and Communications No 42 / 1962 Coll., of 17 April 1962 on the adjustment of pay conditions for road motor vehicle drivers, drivers and bus drivers
The Ministry of Transport provides in agreement with the participating ministries and central authorities and the Central Council of Trade Unions pursuant to § 12 (2) of Act No. 53 / 1968 Coll., on changes in the organisation and competence of certain central authorities and pursuant to § 30 (2) of Decree of the State Commission on Finance, Price and Wages No. 101 / 1966 Coll., on the remuneration of work in the new system of planned management of the national economy.
Decree No. 42 / 1962 Coll., on the adjustment of pay conditions for drivers of road motor vehicles, drivers and bus drivers as amended by Decree No. 23 / 1967 Coll. is amended as follows:
Article 2 (1) reads as follows:
Wage tariffs
(1) The following hourly wage tariffs apply to the remuneration of time and task wages. Drivers, conductors and drivers may only be remunerated on the basis of the monthly tariffs referred to below if this is expedient and administratively easier in terms of wage practice. The head of the organisation shall determine the range of these staff and the conditions for the use of monthly tariffs. In determining the basic wage within the margin, account shall be taken of whether the driver is a repairman or a non-repairer.

This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

*) Clock rates are given for 44 hours working week. In case of shortening of working time, the tariffs laid down in the relevant rules for shortening working time and for adjusting working and operating modes shall apply.
