THE LAW
of 27 October 1983
amending and supplementing the Customs Act
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Customs Act No 44 / 1974 Coll. is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 32 reads:
Unless otherwise provided for in the International Treaty binding by the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, customs officials may stop persons and means of transport, carry out a customs inspection of baggage, means of transport, their costs and transport and accompanying documents only within the customs border zone. "
2. in Paragraph 112, the following paragraph 3 is inserted after paragraph 2:
"(3) An appeal may be brought before a court against a decision of the Customs Directorate establishing the customs value of the commercial goods referred to in paragraph 1. This appeal shall be decided by the regional court in whose district the customs office is situated. ';
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
