Valid Effective from 01.01.1983

DECLARATION
Federal Statistical Office
of 18 November 1981
establishing and using a uniform classification of industrial works of a productive nature
The Federal Statistical Office according to § 35 (2) of Act No. 21 / 1971 Coll., on the Single System of Social Economic Information, provides:
§ 1
(1) A single classification of industrial works of a production nature (hereinafter referred to as "classification") is introduced as part of a single system of socio-economic classifications and code lists 1) and follows a uniform classification of industries and products. 2)
(2) Classification provides for the classification of industrial works of a production nature (hereinafter referred to as "industrial works") as industrial activities for the manufacture of industrial products 3) as a certain stage of their production.
(3) The classification specifies - with the exception of field 547 (assembly of technological equipment) - five classification degrees, namely disciplines, subject groups, groups of industrial works, subgroups of industrial works and assortment. An overview of the fields at the first classification stage is annexed to this decree. For field 547, the breakdown is adjusted specifically in the methodological part of the classification.
(4) The full identification of the specific (assorted) type of industrial work classified must not exceed 12 digit points in contact between organisations.
§ 2
(1) Classification is mandatory
(a) to classify and group information on industrial activities aimed at the production of industrial products which are the subject of supplier-customer relations between organisations in the form of separate supplies as the fulfilment of economic commitments to carry out work; (4) to fulfil economic obligations to supply assembly; 5)
(b) for the management of a single data base of organisations, (6) in particular in the field of supply and customer relations.
(2) The classification is recommended in particular for the sorting and grouping of information in the organisation's information system, (7) for planning and financing and for the building of automated corporate management systems.
§ 3
(1) All organisations carrying out activities covered by the classification shall, in particular, monitor, in their information system, the performance indicators of their activities, including value indicators, and wage and other cost indicators, and, where appropriate, other indicators, as determined by the Federal Statistical Office.
(2) In particular justified cases, the central competent authority may, subject to the approval of the Federal Statistical Office, establish a specific nomenclature, including for external contact between organisations, from the classification elements selected for a specific purpose.
§ 4
(1) Organisations entering supply-customer relations identify in orders, in economic contracts, in delivery notes, in invoices and in other documents of industrial work which are the subject of such relations the code numbers according to the classification.
(2) The supply of industrial work is usually carried out by the supplier to his customer for the intermediate, which thus becomes the material carrier of the supplied industrial work, but is not in itself the subject of supply in a given supplier-customer relationship.
(3) The competence of the material carrier of the specific supply of industrial works to a particular heading of the single classification of industrial fields and products at the stage of the grouping (Paragraph 1 (3)) is required to designate the customer; This obligation is fulfilled by the indication of the second and third characteristics of the field code in which the material carrier (material, semi-finished, etc.) of the industrial work to be carried out by the supplier is classified in the relevant place 8) of the documents of the supplier's customer relationship (in the draft economic contract, on the order, etc.). The mark of the industrial work declared by the customer obliges the supplier to state it on his documents without change (on delivery notes, invoices etc.).
§ 5
Proposals for addition to classification shall be submitted by the central authorities of both the Federation and the Republics or by the geators of the relevant fields of the single classification of industry and products (9). No later than the end of February of each calendar year, the Federal Statistical Office may take effect from 1 January of the following year. The supplements to the classification are implemented by the Federal Statistical Office by the measures announced in the Central Statistical Authorities' Reports and reported in the Collection of Laws.
§ 6
For serious reasons, the Federal Statistical Office may, at the request of the relevant central authority, authorise an exemption from the provisions of Paragraph 1 (3).
§ 7
The single classification of industrial fields and products is deleted by the field 547 - installation of technological equipment.
§ 8
The Directives of the Central Commission for People's Control and Statistics on the introduction and use of uniform sorting of works of a production character and uniform sorting of performance included in the value of the social product No 38 048 / 1965 of 31 July 1965 in the part concerning industrial production works are hereby repealed; the directives were published in the Bulletin of the Central Commission for People's Control and Statistics, the sum of 16-17, of 23 October 1965 and notified in the Collection of Laws, the sum of 8 / 1966.
§ 9
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1983.
Chairman:
Ing. Mika v. r.
