on the single code list of organisations in CSSR
The Federal Statistical Office provides, pursuant to § 35 (2) of Act No. 21 / 1971 Coll., on a single system of socio-economic information:
Purpose of the single code list of organizations in CSSR
The central authorities of both the Federation and the Republics, *) the central management committee * *) as well as all other socialist and other organisations based in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (hereinafter referred to as "the authorities and organisations'), which are obliged to provide socio-economic information (reporting obligations), * * *) the Federal Statistical Office classifies in the single code list of organisations in the CSSR (hereinafter referred to as the code list). The code list shall contain names or abbreviations, registered offices (addresses) and numerical names of the authorities and organisations.
Binding and use of the code list
(1) The authorities and organisations are required to indicate their code names by code list
(a) in the national statistical and accounting statements and in the statistical surveys specifically organised, as well as in the planning documents, to the extent and in a manner specified by specific directives or guidelines of central statistical, financial or planning bodies;
(b) in documents on customer-supplier relations, in particular on orders, in economic contracts, in delivery notes, in invoices and in other documents used to keep records of customer-supplier relationships broken down by supplier or customer;
(c) in specially organised registers, passports and registers, †) provided that the indication of the code names is prescribed by the Federal Statistical Office.
(2) In accordance with the code list, organisations are required to sort and group socio-economic information. † †)
(a) the records of supplies of material by supplier organisation;
(b) in the register of accepted and issued external economic contacts between organisations, such as orders, delivery notes, invoices and other documents, the processing of which in the organisation's information system must be carried out broken down by suppliers and customers;
(c) for the purposes of the mechanised and automated processing of socio-economic information.
(3) In exceptional cases, the use of divergent code lists of organisations in external contact with other organisations may be authorised by the Federal Statistical Office on a proposal from the competent central authority.
Reporting obligation of authorities and organisations
(1) All authorities and organisations, except those registered in the company register, are required to report their establishment, change or demise † †) to the Regional Administration of the Czech Statistical Office or the Regional Administration of the Slovak Statistical Office (Municipal Administration of the Czech Statistical Office in the capital of Prague, the Municipal Administration of the Slovak Statistical Office in the capital of the Slovak Socialist Republic of Bratislava), *) in whose district they have their registered office, no later than 7 days after the competent authority has decided to create, modify or terminate an authority or organization, or when there is another fact affecting the content of the code list.
(2) The reports referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made in writing in duplicate and shall include, in addition to information on the creation, modification or termination of the authority or organisation, the following additional information:
(a) the exact name of the authority or organisation indicating the date from which it is created, destroyed or modified;
(b) the address of the establishment of the authority or organisation, indicating the district;
(c) organisational form (e.g. budget organisation, cooperative undertaking, social organisation);
(d) prevailing activity, *)
(e) the directly superior body (the central body, etc.) and the central body.
The central authorities shall send to the Federal Statistical Office, no later than 30 November each year, preliminary information on which organisational changes in their field of competence will take place on the basis of their decision from the beginning of next year. * *) The central authorities of the Republic shall send this information via the central statistical authorities of the Republic.
Implementation of the supplements and amendments to the code list
Complements and changes to the content of the code list shall be carried out as required by the Federal Statistical Office by the measures notified in the Central Statistical Authorities' Reports.
Final provisions
The code list, or its individual parts, is published by the Federal Statistical Office as a separate publication * * *) and announces the issue of each part in the Central Statistical Authorities News. †)
(1) Exceptions to the provisions of Section 2 are permitted in justified cases by the Federal Statistical Office on a proposal from the central authority responsible for the matter.
(2) Exemptions granted under previous rules remain in force.
The proceeds of the State Statistical Office of 20 July 1967 No 51 537 / 1967 on the introduction and use of the single code list of organisations in CSSR are hereby deleted. † †)
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
