The Act on one-off exceptional pension benefits from social insurance for the year 1946

on one-off exceptional allowances for social security pensions for the year 1946.
The Constitutional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on this law:
§ 1.
(1) The following lump sums shall be granted for pensions from invalidity and old-age, pension and commission insurance for which he was entitled in December 1946:
k důchodu invalidnímu a starobnímu Kčs 600.-,
k důchodu vdovskému a vdoveckému Kčs 400.-,
k důchodu sirotčímu, rodičů a jiných pozůstalých Kčs 200.-,
k přídavku na děti (vychovávacímu příplatku) Kčs 200.-.
The allowance shall not be granted for old-age remuneration from the commission insurance.
(2) Where the beneficiary enjoys several pensions referred to in paragraph 1, only the highest allowance is granted. The allowance provided for in this Act is not to be paid by public funds to the beneficiaries of resting and providing salaries, but would be higher under this Act; Furthermore, it is not for employed pensioners if they were entitled to a full Christmas allowance in 1946.
§ 2.
(1) The following lump sums shall be granted for the year 1946 in respect of the accident insurance pensions for which he was entitled in December 1946:
a) k důchodu zraněného se ztrátou schopnosti k výdělku 100 %Kčs 600.-,
b) k důchodu zraněného s menší ztrátou schopnosti k výdělku, nejméně však se ztrátou schopnosti 50 %, poměrná část z částky Kčs 600.-, která odpovídá míře zmenšení schopnosti k výdělku,
c) k důchodu vdovskému a vdoveckému Kčs 400.-,
d) k důchodům ostatních oprávněných osob Kčs 200.-.
(2) The allowance shall not be granted to persons who have been entitled to a one-off pension allowance, to beneficiaries of retirement and provision allowances from public funds, except that the allowance under this Act would be higher, as well as to employed pensioners if they were entitled to a full Christmas allowance in 1946. If the beneficiary receives several insurance pensions, only the highest allowance shall be granted.
§ 3.
No allowance shall be granted for pensions paid abroad.
§ 4.
The insured person shall be entitled, by improper means, to deduct from his current pension or other benefits to which the same beneficiary is entitled.
§ 5.
Benefits under this Act shall be exempt from tax on pensions.
§ 6.
The costs associated with the payment of allowances under this Act shall be borne by the insurance holders.
§ 7.
This Law shall take effect on 1 December 1946; It shall be carried out by the Minister for Social Welfare.
