DECISION
President of the Republic
of 25 April 2003
on the announcement of a referendum on the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union
Pursuant to Article 62 (l) of the Constitutional Act No. 1 / 1993 Coll., the Constitution of the Czech Republic, pursuant to Article 2 of the Constitutional Act No. 515 / 2002 Coll., on the referendum on the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union and on the amendment of the Constitutional Act No. 1 / 1993 Coll., the Constitution of the Czech Republic, as amended by the later constitutional laws, and pursuant to Article 4 of Act No. 114 / 2003 Coll., on the implementation of the referendum on the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union and on the amendment of certain laws (Act on the implementation of the referendum),
declare
a referendum on the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union; and
I.
I shall set the dates for its performance on Friday 13 June 2003 and Saturday 14 June 2003.
II.
The question for the referendum is:
"Do you agree that the Czech Republic should become a Member State of the European Union under the Treaty of Accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union?"
