of 9 October 1969
adjusting the validity of exit clauses
The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provide, pursuant to Section 7 of Act No. 63 / 1965 Coll., on Travel Documents:
Validity of departure clauses for private and tourist journeys
(1) Unused exit clauses marked "one-off exit clause" which entitle travel abroad are deleted from the date of application of this decree.
(2) Unused exit clauses marked "Single exit clause - TURISTIKA" are deleted on 1 January 1970.
(3) The exit clauses marked "permanent exit clause - TURISTIC" are valid for and transit through the States listed therein.
(4) The exit clauses for private and tourist travel to the Member States of the Council of mutual economic assistance and the socialist countries of Asia remain in force.
(5) The validity of exit clauses issued to citizens temporarily in States other than those referred to in the preceding paragraph is limited to 31 December 1969. For serious reasons, these clauses may be extended.
(6) The provisions of paragraphs 1 to 5 shall apply in full to travel annexes for a card.
Validity of departure clauses for service routes
(1) The exit clauses marked "mission" are deleted on 1 December 1969.
(2) The exit clauses marked "business trip" issued to citizens who are temporarily abroad will expire on 1 January 1970 if the sending organisations do not give consent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for further residence abroad. The further validity of the exit clause shall be confirmed by the Czechoslovak diplomatic mission or consular post. The approved exit clauses will lose effect on the day of their return to the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
