GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 8 October 1969
determining in which cases the issuing of the travel document may be refused
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic orders for the implementation of § 4 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 63 / 1965 Coll., on Travel Documents:
The issue of a travel document may be denied to citizens pursuant to § 4 (1) (a) of Act No. 63 / 1965 Coll., on travel documents, if travel abroad is contrary to the protection of the security of the state, internal order, public health or morality, and further to the travel
(a) States with which the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic does not maintain diplomatic relations;
b) to visit a state citizen of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic who stays abroad without the permission of the Czechoslovak authorities;
(c) a citizen against whom the execution of a decision for failure to fulfil a maintenance obligation or for failure to fulfil a financial obligation towards a State or a socialist organisation is directed;
(d) a citizen whose conduct suggests that he intends to stay abroad after the expiry of his stay abroad;
(e) which is not covered by foreign exchange;
(f) without promise of foreign exchange, with the exception of trips to relatives in the direct generation, siblings and spouses, except in the case referred to in (a) to (d).
This Government Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
